PRINCIPLE
We start on time. Right on time. It's the pride of transport companies. The sonorous captain reminds us of the usual safety rules, but very quickly his sonic sceptre goes haywire...
What kind of cruise have the passengers got themselves into? The main thing we notice is that the galley is having fun listening to the songs, lyrics and beat-boxes that Bertrand is recording on the fly.
Big or small, the listening passengers gradually become the real actors of this wandering. Once they've broken through the four walls, they'll become the singers, dancers and even drivers of the show.
That's why no two bAlllAd performances are exactly alike. It is enriched by the encounters.
High-frequency headphones and a highly intuitive portable recording system overcome technical and space constraints.
BAlllAd respects the sound environment. There's only one way to find out why people are gathering: wait for a free pair of headphones and join in the journey.
- a walk with one "L" is a walk
- a ballad with two "Ls" is a song, a poem.
- a bAlllAd with three "Ls" is the sum of the two!
